delivers all the wit, charm and warmth you'd expect from a reunion of the stars
and director of Sleepless in Seattle. It's a valentine to modern/modem romance,
in which cheerfully rapacious superstore book chain magnate Joe Fox (Hanks) and
cozy children's bookshop owner Kathleen Kelly (Ryan) are anonymous e-mail cyberpals,
who fall head-over-laptops in love unaware, they're combative business rivals. Their
lives run in close parallel in the same neighborhood of Manhattan, yet they begin to
wonder, whether this e-mail flirtation might lead them to be soul mates. However,
they meet in person and clash over their colliding business fortunes, as his chain
is gobbling up smaller, more specialized shops, such as hers.
