New owner as of 4-20-2009, results:
- no more tablecloths, just bare tables (except on 1 table, where a remodeling worker was eating)
- new cocky waiter, who lectured me that we're only 2 out of 10 Americans,
who still prefers tablecloths
- cold restaurant even in cold weather
- no more 2 for 1 deals between 4-6 pm
- no more standard 3 appetizer sauces with the thin papadam bread upon arrival
- $15 minimum to pay by credit card
- no debit cards accepted (if VISA/MC logo is on card, then they have to, he doesn't know that?)
So why should I pay double prices, when I can go to several such
restaurants for half of this price on 36th Avenue, just 3 blocks away?
Charging fine dining prices, but we can't even get a linen tablecloth, because
they want to save on washing it? This was the last time we ate there!
