불고기 Bulgogi (Fire Meat)

재료 (5인분)
2½ lbs. 쇠고기 등심이나 안심 (얇게 썰어)
3 큰술 청주
½ 작은술 후추가루
⅓ 컵 참기름
⅓ 컵 간장
1 큰술 다진 마늘
½개 중간크기 다진 양파
1 큰술 깨소금
2 큰술
1 작은술 생강
½ 대 잔파 / 가는 파 / 족파
조리
1. 모든 재료들을 버물어 30분 재어 놓는다.
2. 석쇠에 굽는다.
Ingredients (5 Servings)
2½ lbs. beef sirloin or tenderloin (thinly sliced)
3 tbsp. rice wine
½ tsp. ground black pepper
⅓ cup sesame oil
⅓ cup soy sauce
1 tbsp. minced garlic
½ medium-size grated onion
1 tbsp. roasted/salted/crushed sesame seeds
2 tbsp. Korean pear juice
1 tsp. ginger juice
½ stem scallion
Preparation
1. Combine all ingredients and let it soak for 30 minutes!
2. Roast on a grill!

Bulgogi (grilled beef strips) exemplifies an age-old tradition of cooking on a curved iron hotplate, a tradition that is matched in northern China and neighboring Mongolia as introduced by the Manchurians. Today this has been streamlined for table service with specially built cone-shaped hotplates fitted over tabletop burners.
